Originally launched in 2006, an article in the Miami Herald thrust Stanky Jigs into many tackle boxes throughout South Florida and the Florida Keys. Owner Gregg Pechenik will tell you, "We had a blast making Stanky Jigs and it was awesome seeing the orders come in. We met some truly amazing people and it was an honor being invited to sponsor some incredible fishing tournaments. However, life got in the way with families and careers and Stanky Jigs got sidelined but not forgotten."
